Arizona has enacted a new law that will affect physicians practicing in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).  On June 4, 2026, Governor Katie Hobbs signed HB 2686, establishing new disclosure requirements designed to increase transparency for patients regarding physicians' relationships with ASCs.

Medical Staff Professionals working with ASCs should begin reviewing:
• Physician disclosure forms
• Patient consent and registration documents
• Credentialing and onboarding processes
• Facility policies and compliance procedures
